I just bought an engraving, #28 in an edition of 30 entitled "David In The Wilderness" by Norma Morgan. It is signed in pencil. I bought it for $35 at a consignment store.
After purchasing it, I did some research on the piece and the artist. I found that two others of the series, #20 & #26 are in the permanent collections at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC and at the Walker Art Center in The Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
How does this fact affect the value of my piece?
Does having it cleaned affect the value?
Thank you,
Barbara Steiner
