Hello fellow artists,
A day ago, I posted a question on if anyone knows any online artist forums/communities in New York? After a little thinking and reviewing my particular needs, I revised my submitted question...
I understand that there may not be many New York artists that visit here, or there may not be many artist forums/communities in New York. In any case, I would be grateful if I could get some replies from artists from other big cities whether their particular city has a more or less quality online meeting place where artists congregate and help each other out with advice, networking, etc. I realized that the place where an artist lives and works isn't as important as I thought before, because artists are artists everywhere.
Several questions I wanted to ask, that are some of the prime factors of why I wanted to find an online artist forum, is the artist studio in a big city as it pertains to emerging artists. For example, who here keeps a studio in their place of living? Who doesn't, and rents a separate studio? Also, where do you store artworks?
I personally am having difficulties with all of these factors, not having money to rent a separate space and therefore forced to have a tiny room as a storage area/studio.
