I have made many digital collages in Photoshop and have no knowledge as to how one would go about preparing them for sale. I assume that you would print them out on a special film or paper of some sort. Where could I find good information on the different qualities of these papers and/or films? In my work, graphic art, we use film for Duratran film to make large scale reproductions of images for trade shows, booths, signage and such, but duratrans are not of very high quality as far as I know. They are translucent and meant to have a light source behind them.
Would you then matt and frame digital images as you would with other media or is there another generally accepted way of preparing them?
Also, are these images Limited Edition? I know that it would be nearly impossible to put limits on digital images, but the same can be said, to some degree, about limited edition plates for prints and the moulds of cast sculpture.
