The picture below is a reproduction of an piece of art I BELIEVE is called "the siege of castle basil". I don't know that for a fact, I am trying to identify the work this was based off and the artist if possible.

Here is a little history. The Item I have is a family heirloom that is about 155 years old. From what is passed down it is a reproduction of the painting I mentioned above. It measures 40.5 in by 52 in not including the frame, which we believe was replaced sometime in the 1940's.

Any help identifying this would be greatly appreciated.
