I recently purchased a framed Luigi Kasimir "Bad Gastein 29 Mar 1943" and would like to know possibly the value of the piece. It was framed by the New York Graphic Society for a gentleman in Berkeley, California (name withheld for privacy reasons) #876.
It is signed in pencil, I'm sure it is not an estate signed piece as it does not contain the "NL" mark with the signature and it has the distinct "Y" looking "R" at the end of his name (I was reading abit from another forum submitter on what to look for). I found one website selling one for $1800 and was just curious to know if that would be a close figure for the piece. I do not know much of his work but really love it!
