You know, you gotta do that every once in a while just to remind yourself why you paint. Money's cool.. i like it. But having someone connect with your work is euphoria.
I had a guy stationed in Iraq working at a hospital contact me.. told me it was the perfect painting for his wife but no way could afford $600.00. I was so blown away that it would be a gift for his 1st wedding anniversary that I told him to not worry about it, just give me your address and I'll send it to her.
Maybe after a while the business numbs you.. selling piles of numbers and figures with no artwork at all.
