I tried looking using the Adavanced search feature but did not get the result I thought I would. I'm not sure if I am doing it right. I thought that the following criteria would give me several paintings to then choice from but I was wrong.
Click on Advanced Search
Select Media (Acrylics)
Select Style and Subject (Abstract)
Select Type of Art from pull down menu (Original Paintings)
Enter Min and Max price (Min: 0 Max: 2000)
Enter Min and Max Length and Height (Min/Max length: 12/36 Min/Max height: 12/36
The net result of my search was zero painting out of the entire database. Seems like my criteria would deliver many more results then that.
When I browse listings I select abstracts (1093 selections). I then drill down that search to the original paintings on the left task pane (637 selections). As I understand the previous number those are the artist that meet the criteria, some of those artist have several pieces. What I would like to do from here is further refine this search to oils and acrylics that are between 12 to 36 inches in length and 12 to 36 inches in height. You know the more I type this the more I think I may be asking a little to much, I was just hopeing to only have to go through 100 or so artist to look at the collections that meet the criteria that I have set for myself for purchase.
