"Primal" means "original", "primitive", "first in importance", or "fundamental". If something is first in importance or fundamental, then it is the foundation for all other things coming after it.

The word, "nature", means more than Earth, trees, animals, flowers, clouds and sunsets. It also means planets, stars, galaxies,... the whole universe. Nature is everything,.. all reality.
