Hi I've got this painting that looks like it's signed by a "Van de Pleus". On the back it has an old almost illegible sticker saying that it has been restored by Biggs & Sons in London. I see that they were around in the early 1900s from a google search so in my mind I have deduced that this was painted mid 1800s but in all honestly I don't have a clue. I've photographed the picture for you which can be found on my auctiva website. I was thinking of ebaying it then thought OMG what if it's actually worth something!! LOL :-)
Can anyone point me in the right direction please and give me a clue as to it's probable worth.
