Continuous adrenaline rush, shallow character development, superficial plot, plus sub-plot overload,... the now trite Alien-face-to-human-face face off, good actors, outstanding effects, super set designs and action sequencies,... all surgically scheduled within the modern attention-deficit-disorder alloted time frame of 86 minutes.

A could-have-been really great movie dumbed down and paced for our impatient, video-game-mentality, multi-tasking times. The only thing missing were commercial interruptions every two minutes. Oh,.. they put all those at the beginning - that's why they made the movie so short, I guess.

When will producers get some guts?... and use all these phenomenal resources and talents to create sci-fi movies that are memorable artistic masterpieces of the genre,... instead of so many injections of audio-visual heroin?
