I stumbled upon this website regarding George E. Lee artwork. I recently acquired a piece at an estate/moving sale here in CA and purchased a framed metal art piece, and it had this artist's name on it. I just put it up on ebay, as I buy and sell on ebay, it is now out of my hands (there is a bid on it) The person who bid on it says they have 10 paintings by Lee, but the signature is a bit different. (could be a very early piece before his true art signature was established) Any idea if it would be one of G.E. Lee's earlier pieces and did he ever do metal etching or painting? I am just curious about the piece. If you like, you can search it on ebay Item # 180204510317. Any info would be helpful as to my purchase and eventual sale.I hope it goes to the right collector.
