Hi, Peter: The CD's on it's way. I had to order it and it took a couple weeks to come, then had to pick it up at the local music shop, then mail it at the local post office. I have to laugh, in the end, if all's added up, cost of this and that, and the gas used ranning here and there; I've made nothing on the sale of the poster. Though it's all been worth it to have made contact with Tony Towle againe. Not that sale of posters can't be profitable for artists. For example, I hope in the near future to do a poster using a work of my art which will be printed by means of four color seperation, offset lithography with a run of at the very least two thousand, the larger the run the lower the price per poster. The problem is there's a large cash lay-out for the photo work, processing the plates, paper and press time. But, the price per poster amounts to pennies compared to $20 to $50 (depending on size) of an individual ink-jet printed poster. Of course not just anyone can be a "producer/publisher" of a poster; much like, not just anyone can be a "producer" of a movie. A person must know the process start to finish knowing where to go for this and that, etc., which I do from working at ULAE and the posters produced by it's sister company Telamon for MOMA and the NY Met.Museum of Art. Let me know if you might like to be an Australian distrubuter. By the way, my services as such, "co-producer/publisher" are for hire, if anyone out there might want to "produce/publish" there own poster, which is very different then attempting to sale your own ink-jet printed posters, unframed at say, $100. unframed a pop. Only a few people are willing to spend that much for an unframed "poster" and it's got to be something very special; and the artist is lucky to make anything on such a sale at all. Sincerely, the artist Geo.
