Hi, I am an Australian artist who has just completed my degree in Visual Arts. During this time I completed a thesis on Art Restoration and the issues it raises. Following this I became extremely interested in becoming involved in and possibly training as a restorer. Unfortunately for me this means another 3 years at university here in Australia which I am not ready for at the current time. As a consequence I have done a bit of research and have found out that it may be possible to gain a type of apprentiship or internship somewhere overseas, therefore bypassing 3 years of university.
