Thanks for reminding me, Babelina:

A varnished painting is a bit more challenging to photograph too, because if you do it straight on with the light coming straight on, then the picture you get is this painting with a big ugly glare on it that hides any detail you might want to relay.

So, Babe,.. it's a bit impossible to capture the shine of a shiny surface in a photograph.

Okay,.. gotta go photograph some hot models for a womens' magazine now (yeah, right!)
