He was my great uncle. He was sent to Europe to study art by my Grandfather and later became resident artist for an ad agency named Farkas-Jensen-Farkas, of which my father was the second Farkas in the name. My dad was named after his uncle Frank. The "Here, Rover" etching, I believe, was originally done as a logo mascot for Walgreens' drugstores. He lived in Chicago after returning from Europe and was quite talented and eccentric. What you probably have are some of his etchings. I only have "Here Rover" and a scene under a bridge in Venice with San Marco in the background.
