Sharon Lewis is the writer and director of a short film called CHAINS being produced in Canada.

CHAINS is a short film about a woman who tries to grow a flower in her underground community to inspire her people to believe that beauty has a place in their survivalist society. For inspiration Chain constructs flower pieces using waste products.

We want your idea of what a flower sculpture/piece looks like when it grows underground with refurbished products and is 'planted' on the hull of a based boat.

It's lo/no budget (c'mon its Canadian), but we will feature your piece in the short film and of course give you a thank you in celluloid. And most importantly be forever in your debt.

Any flower sculpture/piece selected for the film will receive on-screen credit.

CRITERIA FOR FLOWER SCULPTURE/PIECES
- Any size but must be mobile for actor to move them about during the film.
- Any material invented by humans or found in nature.
- Aesthetic over functionality: Beauty and material love as opposed to practical functionality.
- Objects to be used in the building of the flower should be any material that could potentially be found at landfill or recycling plant.
- Final flower sculpture should be made without using any special tools or equipment, should be something that can be fabricated by human hands or makeshift tools.
- The use of colour should be minimal.
- No using the colour yellow.
- The flower featured in the film is a Gerbera Daisy, but it can be any flower for the sculpture.
