Putting MY work next to other artists' works that you appreciate lets me know how I look directly next to others. It lets me know whether or not I should just trash my whole collection of images or maybe think that they do (in fact) have some universal appeal.
Your honest feedback (ya or nay) is the litmus test of truth. All the paint substrate canvases that I did years ago (as a real painter) are looking more and more destined for the dump. I think I'll stick with this fluidism thing for a while, as my chosen, signature approach.
