My latest project was to actually CLEAN my table and shelves and area but, in the process I found some acrylic mediums that were unopened and decided to try them out on some old paintings and such... I've been messing around with Liquitex fibers texture gel and it is FUNKY, I've been mixing it with other mediums and am starting to get the feel of them... my work is generally really FLAT (on purpose) but, I thought I might branch out. I also have some "absorbent ground" which, if you've never tried, is really cool... you can make almost any surface, well... absorbent!
I've also make some transfers lately and stuck them into some works... I printed images onto transparency film and put ink side down onto a thick layer of acrylic gel medium and burnished them... letting them dry for long enough is my biggest problem but, pulling them off too early has produced some interesting images as well...
SO... what are you all doing now???
