I have an old framed drawing that has passed from one family member to another for years on end. I can't identify the artist's signature but I believe it to be H Ganmeur . The title of the scene is Pertre . I am probably wrong on both artist and title, but it is the best I can make out. It depicts a winter scene in a quaint European (French) village with cobblestone street...a cathedral is the central object. There are a few figures in the scene and their garb seems to be of late 19th century, early 20th. If anyone has any information about the artist, I would truly appreciate it. It is in a vintage frame, and hanging in a bedroom and I'd only like information about it for my own knowledge. I don't pretend that it is an important or valuable piece...I just like looking at it. It's kind of serene.
