Taproot Theatre Company (Seattle, WA) is holding an online auction at www.taproot.cmarket.com to sell pencil-signed lithographs of Norman Rockwell's Huck Finn Folio, a collection of 8 full-color images from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. Only 200 suites were made. You can bid on each individual piece online, or you can call me (206.529.3672) to make an offer for the entire suite. A certificate of authenticity is included with the entire suite, and if you purchase all 8 lithographs, you will also receive the portfolio in which the lithographs are stored (when not framed, of course). Each lithograph is framed behind museum quality glass. All proceeds from this auction go toward supporting Taproot's work, which include a 6-show mainstage season, year-round acting classes for kids and adults, and an educational Road Company that tours social issue plays (bullying and harassment prevention) to schools grades K-12 all over the Pacific Northwest! I've included an image of one of the pieces, but you can see them all at the site above. All pieces will be on display in the upper lobby Taproot Theatre (204 N. 85th St, Seattle, WA 98103) during the run of our summer show, Big River (which is an adaptation of Huckleberry Finn!) until August 9, 2008, when the auction will also close.
