Robert I wasn’t talking about archive images of paintings but rather presentations that show the buyer the real thing as an example and perhaps a basis what it would look like on his own wall. I don’t thing that there is a need to square everything up. I only use my little pocket camera, take a shot from the side, which works well with paintings under glass as can be seen below, and then I do a bit of editing on the computer.
Anyway, I am not trying to push anything but rather wonder why I am the only one that does it. If a good argument that convinces me to follow the rest than I may consider it, but until then I think that framed paintings look much better than flat images, even on the internet.
