To all artists:
Prizma Virtual Gallery is an art organization that provides opportunities for artists to earn extra income and public exposure for their work.
The gallery is sponsoring monthly competitions, some themed, some open subject, in which the top entries earn potentially significant cash awards.
The competitions are also designed to challenge artists to stretch their abilities in new and exciting ways by setting unusual parameters for each event, such as a limited color palette, a specific theme, or a community image where all artists use the same reference photo to produce an original work.
The gallery does not sell or promote any particular artist or their work. However, entries from each event will be selected by the curator for inclusion into the gallery's permanent collection, and winning entries from each contest will be displayed for an entire year on the gallery's website.
If you are interested in participating, the next competition deadline is December 15th, 2008.
