These workshops are designed to give the student/artist a thorough grounding in the techniques and skills required to execute an Encaustic Painting, while helping them towards an understanding of how this medium can be used to enhance their creative aims.

Ellen Koment is represented by Box Gallery in Santa Fe. She has been working in and exhibiting Encaustic Paintings for fifteen years. She is a member of the art faculty at SFCC, and a graduate of Cooper Union Art School and UC Berkeley
