The Smithtown Township Arts Council is now accepting entries for Arte Latino, an exhibition in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month August 22–Sept 23, 2009 at the Mills Pond House Gallery. The exhibition seeks to explore the unique cultural and artistic narratives that define being Latino in America. Open to all media that expresses the experience of being Latino in the United States or that communicates the history of their journeys or their culture that connects them with their Latin heritage.
