Stanley Mouse hails from Detroit, where as a young man decided to leave high school and hoped to earn a living in ART.  So it was, while attending art school, he began a prosperous business in T-Shirt painting featuring hot rod and custom cars centered in California.  George Barris, "Big Daddy" Roth, Rick Griffin(Creator of Murph the Surf) and others inspired him and were reflected in his work.  His family encouraged him and he established his business at car shows and state fairs.  In addition to painting t-shirts with "monster Car" images, he moved into the art of rock, and rhythm and blue music.  Smokey Robinson, The Tempatations, The Surpremes, the Four Tops, Marvin Gaye and other Motown Acts were features on his t-shirts.  Stanley Mouses' art exploded into popularity.

d'ART is featuring several of his pieces on Today's Specials.  Many of them are rare finds and we encourage you to add them to your collections.
