If you want to sell your own original paintings, then good luck-- I seriously wish all original painters the best.
These days? - Yikes! Very few people seem willing to pay the REAL WORLD COSTS of supporting original paintings. Of those who ARE willing, they expect to have it THEIR WAY --"I really don't like this color, .. could you maybe do one that matches this color" .. OR .. "I hung it on the wall for five days, and I just don't think I can go with this one".
People seem very spoiled-- art consumers want to see it on their walls and know they can live with it, before they commit hundreds or thousands of dollars to buying a smear of high-grade grease or high-grade plastic on a cloth.
STEP 1: Find a day job.
STEP 2: Do all five steps recommended in the previous post.
STEP 3: Pray
STEP 4: Recycle, give away, or trash old art that clutters your space
STEP 5: Hope for a better world in the future that understands human creative effort well enough to support an original artistic culture.
