I worked for Art Gore at his Denver, Morrison and Littleton Galleries. I have some of his work, all treasured, but I have a gold casting of his mill photo. He had a series of pictures of the mill for each season as it was neglected and soon fell. He knew those photos would never be duplicated. He made some of the castings in silver but he told me I had the only gold one. The jeweler said it took almost an ounce to fill the mold and to certify it as 18 karat. He was a fine man and his son of the same name a good friend. I was lucky to wirtness a fine craftsman at his trade for those years. For example, I can tell you how and where he took the pictures of the dandelion weed seeds blowing off the stem.
