I have put up our personal collection of George E Lee paintings on the website thegeorgeeleecollection.com.  We had our collection appraised at the Sovereign Collection in Portland, OR in 2004.  Those values are listed in the gallery section of my website.  However, I have generally been seeing George E Lee's for significantly less online.  I think that is because the art is not being sold at fine art venues.  I'm hoping to get ours into a showing at one of the galleries along the Oregon Coast, where Lee's works used to be displayed and sold.

All but two of our Lee paintings are for sale, though, for the right price, I might consider the other two.  One was specifically commissioned by our family and the artist promised to never paint that item for anyone else.  It's a painting of the North Bend, OR bridge, and a one-of-a-kind.  It's valued at $20K, but I'm not sure I'd sell it even for that.

Please visit thegeorgeeleecollection.com and let us know what you think.
