I think I'm finished with the landscape. This is an area I'd like to be good at, but know I have a ways to go. It may be that I'm lazy and don't have the patience to spend alot of time making leaf patterns. It did help to paint the background and then the trees and then the action that pulled it into shape. . . painting bck in the background. I don't care so much for the characters I've made. They are distorted in not meant to looking ways. I'd scratch them out, but then there just wouldn't be that much to the painting. I wonder if I even like landscapes. What does one look for in a straight landscpae painting? How does it move you. What features make the mood?

Not feeling that well today and I have lots to do. The deadlines are looming high over my head. I've made great progress but know there is much I have not even begun. Oh well. What will be will be and what won't will be unknown.
