I am a freguent buyer of fine american crafts, usually contemporary ceramic and glass art. I am interested in determining whether the online craft galleries translate web presence into actual sales. Do these sites act as advertising or do people actually buy? Personally, I have only made purchases in person. All opinions are appreciated whether you are an artist, gallery owner (with or without a website) or just a fine craft lover.
