A Poetry Reading In The Alley
will be held Saturday 1-July-2000
at
Cat's Impetuous Books
& The Impecunios Gallery
233 1/2 South Water Street
Kent, Ohio
Participating Poets Include
such notable contemporary artists as
Cat Townsend
Jim Chandler
Cait Collins
Ron Androla
Julie Schillinger
Daniel M. Pietraszewski II
Bart Breen, and a fabulous host
of other well known Bards
& Other Unknowns
(such as yours truly)
whether I will wax poetic and actually read
is a hovering air ball at the moment
but who knows
with enough encouragement
I can be coerced or persuaded
to make a fool of myself
in almost any venue.
I'm taking these pieces with me

Feel Gilbralter
and Three Mile Island
between knees
Unreserved Shivering
until I can't breathe
or stop the flaming fallout
crazed half-life particles
swimming in a mushroom
cloud gone blue
Swallowing
your head for once
I want to
Light you up
Smoke you long
and Drink you
like Alice In Wonderland
