You're feeing a bit glum. I'm not convinced it's the inability to meet with friends and have a drink or two. It's not as if you're a daily drinker. You're a social drinker. You've been good about not binge drinking so there you go. You're doing allright in that department. What I'm more concerned about is not choosing a life path. Oh sure you stand at the crossroads and identify each path very nicely. Problem is that once you've taken a break you then run blindly after 6 or 7 butterflies of possibilities straight into the thick of the woods. Yes, you need to do work to make the money to pay for the extravagant life you've created for yourself. This means taking on work that might not necessarily take you down the chosen path. So what's the answer? I don't know. I still think a full time computer animation job would be sweet. Do this by day and paint by night. I think Brian had a nice set-up this way and seems to be doing fine. So before you head back to the crossroads, finish your animation station demo and go to Siggraph to get the skinny on how to present yourself and what possibilities are out there for you. You've alot of work on to complete today. Just clear the stage one by one and I think you'll feel a whole lot happier. Clean the studio this evening and lay a brush to the canvas. Damn the heat. Just sweat it out buddy.
