I suppose your beloved Uncle would have made an easy target for
the unearthly experiments of whatever those ufos were.
Then again, "Unk" is pretty quick on his feet and he may be hiding under a piece of furniture or in an out of the way closet.
Better make a thorough search!
PS: I have some old emails from your Uncle, but they make little sense to me. Perhaps YOU would have been luck in deciphering them?
