The Registry Resort Naples announced the opening of The Visiting Artist Gallery, which will exhibit the works of ten contemporary artists in conjunction with the annual Visiting Artist Series held at the resort.
The artists featured in the Gallery are Yankel Ginsburg, David Lee, Lau Chun, Gil Bruvell, Andrea Smith, Joseph Quillan, Jim Zhang, Xianang Yu, Bernard Foung and Vladimir Kush. The contemporary works of art will include original paintings, prints, sculpture and objets d'art.
"The Visiting Artist Gallery is an extension of our highly successful Visiting Artist Series that began in 1998 at The Boca Raton Resort & Club," said Linda Rippee, managing director of The Visiting Artist Gallery. "We are very excited about the addition of a permanent exhibition of world-class contemporary art."
The 2001 Visiting Artist Series begins this November with a special exhibition by Yankel Ginsburg. The series will feature exclusive South Florida exhibitions by the artists. The art is also on display in many of the public areas of the Registry Resort and also at The Edgewater Beach Resort.
The Gallery is located in the retail shops area of the Registry Resort, immediately adjacent to The Brass Pelican Restaurant.
