Say Brother Love, you have just asked the question that thousands of others ask all the time, not that I have the answer, I don't. I'm almost thirty and have done alot of crap to get by, wait tables, security guard, etc. Currently I am a scenic painter living in Detroit. My advice, for what it's worth, is this- learn to be a salesman, hump your slides all over the place and get somebody to look at them, don't take no for an answer, and offer to work for free at the begining wherever it is. Make a painting a day and make sure it's a paintiang that will sell to saomebody, even if it's a tractor pull illustration, when you have momentum on your side, in a few years if you are really lucky, then you can indulge youyrself with the real stuff. Good Luck
