My name is Nancy Christy-Moore and I'm a contemporary watermedia & mixed media artist. My work has been collected in Japan as well as the US. Currently I am represented by 2 galleries - one in Louisville, KY and one in Topeka, KS. My recent work consists of an abstract horse series and a continuing abstract floral series. These are both selling quite well. I call myself an intuitive painter because often images appear as I'm painting. I then respond to the painting before me and complete the work. Because of this I cannot take commissions unless they are open ended (i.e. someone just wants one of my paintings, etc.). The creation of beauty is my primary motivation. Many of my peices are highly textured and some are partially sculpted so must be framed by floating.
