I do not paint realisticly, but I know that realism is just as important as any other style. If you are after the same ansures who cares how you get there. Realistic art sells well too wich is a good thing. I know some verry good realist painters and we see eye to eye together. If she continues with her work she will allways be criticized as I allways am, sometimes very harshly, but there will be fellow artist who will support her ego. As for a school she will have to find an instructor that she can trust and if she can't then she should teach herself by finding other artists works that she agrees with and study there work. One of my favorites is Andrew Wyeth, and a fellow who lives by me Daniel Sprick. Both realist, yet it is good to look at as many artist as possible. This Otis is an idiot.
