Presentation:
Saturday evening, on June 23th, 2001, an "unusual artistic performance" by Domenico Olivero will take place at Foundation Peano, which has as main goal is the promotion of sculpture and integration between art and natural environment.
A traditional copper vessel named "candisuar" will be used, and 19 candles will slowly burn in it, each one with its own shape and size.
During the happening some objects, given as gifts by some close friends, will be inserted into the vessel. They will join in bringing a new sculpture to life, as soon as the wax starts solidifying again.
Comment:
As time goes by, only our memories don't get lost.
As time goes by, it exhausts our existences, only a few things it spares; those things are just little events, when distinct identities meet one another... those moments become one and the same with our existence and maybe they only leave a faint trace.

Presentation:
Dans la soirée du 23/06/01 chez Fondazione Peano, vous pourrez assister à la performance artistique de M. Domenico Olivero.
Cette performance a comme but la promotion de la sculpture et l’insertion de l’art dans le milieu naturel.
Cette performance sera réalisée avec un «Candissoir» en cuivre dans lequel il y aura 19 bougies de format et dimensions differentes, qui se consumeront lentement.
Pendant l’événement des objets donnés par des amis seront inserés dans le candissoir et après la solidification de la cire fondue ils créeront une sculpture.

Avec la fuite du temps seulement nos memoires restent
Le temps consume notre vivre, et seulement des petites chose de nous-mêmes restent, seulement les petits évenements, les instants de rencontre avec des autres identitès qui se fondent avec notre existance et peut être laissent des traces fragiles.
