A group of contemporary and British artists ( the likes of Tim Head, Jason Martin, Bob&Roberta Smith, Albert Irvin,..) have created unique works of art from customised candles for a project called "project wax" which aims to raise money for cancer research.
The artworks were displayed in the London Metropolitan Hotel for a fortnight, a launch in the Met Bar (London's most trendy celebrities hangout) gathered many players of the art world, press, artists and lots of enthusiastic art lovers. Project wax is looking for an opportunity to travel abroad and perhaps join venture with a local charity.
