I have had modest success selling approximately 30 original oils in my locality of Vancouver, Canada. My work focuses on southwest and western themes and has been pretty well recieved in a town where the nearest cactus is 500 miles away!
I have shown my work to several gallery owners, publishers and others experienced in the art industry and they all seem to think that my work is marketable. As one publisher said, "If your work sold that well in this market, think of what you could do in markets such as Alberta, Wyoming, Arizona and Texas".
I am told I have a very pleasing pallet and that my use of colors works well with those choosing to decorate in a southwest or western life style.
