Am I not
your angel
unfallen
broken wings tethered
to the clouds save
only for you

Have I not
set sail Cinderella dreams
against the wind to waft
through your hands
like a feather
and be guided to light
beside you in
sleep

Will I not
forever
be the child
face upturned to
the sun and your
warmth to be forever
sheilded from the winter
you regard as life

Will you not
then take
this angel this
feather this child
to light beside you
to light the night
you regard as
life

Say you now and forever
I do
