and now in rapture's wake
come sit beside me
watch as the wind sketches
clouds across the canvas
of the sky
guilded by the sun

can you feel winter
and hope for spring
as we laze in the grass
on this maybe last
warm day


tis December my sweet
and long comes the
cold let me beside you
with coffee enough
to warm your heart
