I have considered trying to get listed with American Showcase. I found this site through my "Artist's and Graphic Designer's Market" book. If they accept your work they will list your portfolio for $650.00 a year. This sounds like a lot but they claim they have 750,000 hits a month. If I can get an art rep or some business out of this it will be worth it. The problems that immediately come to mind with this is that 1. Is it a site promoting mostly commercial art(I am a fine artist but capable of doing illustration also.) 2. Will I get "Lost in Cyberspace" and never be noticed. Any advice would be appreciated.
