I am glad to see a male point out the poor treatment of women in other areas of the world. I thank God that If I have to be a woman I am born in the U.S.A. There is no other country in the world that I know of where women are regarded with so much respect.
I do hope our efforts in the Middle East help the afghanian women. No one should have to live like that. Not women, children, elderly, men,or even animals. I hope also that our Middle Middle Eastern effort help to kill off the terrorist movement. I know there will always be hate and violence in the world, but I believe any group who will gladly kill thousands of innocent people just to make a point deserve to be killed. Every last one of them.
I would like to see peace on earth but feel that is only a dream. I think what is even sadder are that so many people are tortured and killed in the name of religion. How ironic. When I go to church I don't ever hear how other people of different religions or ethnic backgrounds need to be destroyed because of their beliefs. We are encouraged to think the opposite and love our fellow man. To kill off the terrorists are my own feelings and none of which were influenced by religion, just by my own anger.Sorry to ramble on.
