...and from what I've read, the Ladies of Afghanistan must feel
relieved as they rip off their veils and apply lipstick to their lips.
(OK, that is overstating it, but I saw it on TV)...
...The Taliban did NOthing for women...and left to their own devices...
...would have continued to oppress them...good riddens.
Ordinarily, I would have been concerned for the welfare of the CHILDren...
...before anybody else, but under the Taliban, while the kids were
severely punished for stepping 'out of line'--the women were actually killed!
I am NOT so PRO American as I have been portrayed to be....NO!
IF the USA had treated women that way, I would have been among the first to protest against our government.
