If you live in NYC and are into electronic music, or any artform, there is a new forum that has started for local NYC musicians & artists. It's called C:>ForMat (www.cformat.org) It's a great place to find resources and other type of artists to colaborate with. For instance, lets say you need video or film for your music this would be the perfect place to go. Or if you are looking for other musicians to work with locally it is also a great place. If you check out Ravezilla ( http://209.244.173.11/jr/rzillac.wmv ) which was done for Studio 54, has work by some of the members of the forum. C:>ForMat was created to combine all types of musicians and artist together to colaborate on anything and everything possible. C:>ForMat is also a great place to advertise where you will be performing next as it has a NYC events listing. Becomming a member is absolutely free, and all that is required is a valid email address. It was also created to bring back that local BBS feeling. Anyway, If you are an artist in NYC and want to collaborate, communicate, and support fellow artists, definately check it out.
