Requiem Of Steel
I am sung not
to be forgotten.
A ballad of tears, a voice
triuphant trumpets blared
winded with time forlorn.
I am sung out like a candle
burned to the quick, smoldered ash
remnants of a former fire,
now soot blackened history
preserved in parcel
the requiem rung
through the tomb
of steel
