I am an abstract artist and probably couldn't be of much help... Just a thought... Have you looked into community or college classes in illistration in the area, might be helpful to meet teachers or proffessors in the feild. Also, if you havn't already done so.. put together a portfolio of some works... The art bussiness is very competative, you need to be able to show people something on the spot. Good luck. Also, might help if you posted your location... so artists in the region could respond.
