Night chill awakens me
I quickly raise my head
Confusion, blurry sight
I squint and try to see
What has happened in my sleep?
What's gone on inside this bed?
We came to it together
Snuggled closely
Skin to skin
And last that I remember
We were safely tucked within
A-HA!!
BLANKET THIEF!!
Soooooo....
I've caught you once again
I see you've made a nice cocoon
A cozy second skin
I cannot seem to wake you
And you've wrapped yourself so tight
That I am left to count my goosebumps
While you sleep on through the night.
