I am a writer. I came across a Mollie Kellogg-Cirino painting in a gallery in Phoenix, Arizona. I usually don't buy paintings but when I saw this one, I had to have it!! Everyone I know, loves it!!
I use this painting as a MUSE when I am writing. It is actually a self potrait of the artist holding a small bird. It is done in vivid "Yellow colors." I really love Kellogg-Cirino's use of colors in all her paintings...So Dramatic!!
I think Kellogg-Cirino captures the aura of the subject's "MOMENT."
I feel once her work gets more exposure she will be asked by everyone if she can paint them. She paints so BIG!! So DRAMATIC!!
Her NUDES are what I call "art in it's truest form..."
